Privacy & Data

What we collect

PocketShift stores business-related data you provide: client names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, job details, invoices, quotes, and stock information. This data is processed solely to provide the business management service.

How we store it

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security ensuring complete tenant isolation. Each business can only access their own data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Your rights under POPIA

As a South African data subject, you have the right to:

• Access — view all data we hold about you

• Correction — update incorrect information

• Deletion — request permanent removal of all your data

• Portability — export your data in CSV format

• Object — opt out of any processing

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
